Hermetically tight at 200 °C: LEWA renovates pumps at Wacker Chemie

Hermetically tightness up to 200 °C and resistance to very cold ambient temperatures in winter: these were the most important factors for the design and construction of the new pumps in the Wacker Chemie plant.  As an expert in metering solutions of all kinds, LEWA implemented an individual system fulfilling the customer’s requirements.

The use of pressure-free hydraulic reservoir behind the diaphragm blanketed with nitrogen as well as high-tech oil, which is used in airplanes exposed to wide temperature fluctuations, guarantees additional safety. All parts of the pump head in contact with fluids are made of corrosion-resistant austenite 1.4571 or with the high alloy material Hastelloy.
