LEWA sponsors city run in Leonberg

On June 28, 2014, the 5th city run took place in Leonberg. LEWA participated in the run both on and off the race track.

It was raining again and again, but just before the first starting signal sounded, the sun came out, ensuring ideal running conditions. Around 850 runners competed.

171 men and 133 women participated in the 5,000-meter run which was sponsored by LEWA. Within the LEWA company sports group, amongst men Ralph Gommel (29th place) and Andreas Hettich (47th place) achieved the best results, amongst women Ronja Pecher (34th place) and Déborah Stork (42th). „The threat of rain and the great support of the spectators brought myself to activate the last reserves”, says Ronja Pecher visibly satisfied. In addition, the LEWA company sports group achieved the 8th place in the 10,000 meter run.

Many visitors appeared at the city run and were not only entertained by the runners. On six of seven visitor places live music could be enjoyed.
