Responsibility for the employees: LEWA receives certificate for industrial safety and health protection

To protect health and safety of its employees, LEWA applied for the certificate according to Arbeitsschutz mit System (Systematic Labour Protection).

Fulfilling the criteria defined by the internationally accepted norms NLF / ILO-OSH 2001 and OHSAS 18001:2007, LEWA was awarded with the certificate by the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft (Administrative Professions Organization) on June 26, 2014. This not only confirms that LEWA complies with all legal regulations, but also at all levels implements rules which pertain to responsibility, instruction and maintenance of proved and monitored equipment and resources.

Risk assessments were made in all areas and departments, so that appropriate and professional measures could be made to ensure industrial safety and health protection. These measures also raise productivity.

Furthermore, LEWA fulfils its social responsibility regarding sustainability and environmental protection. The company is seeking to be certified in the sectors of environment and energy.
